After a long long flight with a short stopover in Seoul I arrived in Melbourne - and the city was welcoming me with sunshine! With lots of jetlag I went to my hostel, which in my humble opinion is the best hostel in the world...or at least on this continent. Actually, the first weeks and experiences in the hostel and in Melbourne and at my Uni would need an own blog. But I try to recollect my mind and tell the most essential things I came over in the first days/weeks:<br />1. There are penguins in Australia!<br />2. Haven't seen a Koala or Kangoroo yet :o(<br />3. There are Germans everywhere.<br />4. People from England can really drink every night!<br />5. Alcohol is quite expensive...cigarettes as well.<br />6. It is not that easy to find a permanent place to live.<br />7. You cannot study while you are living in a hostel.<br />8. Instead I learnt some strange Spanish sentences...<br />9. For some reason I like to sing Karaoke (what I never did in Germany).<br />10.
